UniversuMM 2019, the most awaited Student Fest of the region organized by MMDU begins today evening with a perfectly synchronized Cultural Procession led by the NCC Girls Unit of NCC MMDU.
The Fest is meant to represent a unified global image and hence one could see a glimpse of cultures of different countries ranging from Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Madagascar which were represented by various prestigious institutions of MM Group namely MMIHM, MMCDSR and MMEC. After the global cultural theme, the cultures of Indian states marched ahead in this procession beginning from Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and a combined theme to represent the states of UP, Bihar & Jharkhand. MMIPR represented the states of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh while MMCOP and MMIM represented Uttarakhand and Punjab respectively. The state of Haryana was represented by MM Department of Law and Delhi by MMIMSR.
The procession also included a presentation of the states of West Bengal by MMCDSR and North East India by North East Clava (DSW). MM Faculty of Nursing took the responsibility to present the cultural theme of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra & Goa while South India was represented by MMIPR.
It turned out to be a vibrant evening charging the ambiance with enthusiasm and celebratory spirit. The cultural procession concluded with a spellbinding Bhangra performance by MM Ekam Bhangra Group. The later part of the evening was musically enthused by DJ Sick & Sane who rolled groovy music one after another for the UniversuMM participants coming from every nook and corner of the world.
