How MMDU Helped Me Scale Heights: Simran Gandhi

I’m Simran Gandhi pursuing BA LLB from MMDU, Mullana. I belong to Palwal, a district in Haryana. Apart from law I had been trying in modeling. I had participated in Miss Femina India 2019 and was a finalist from Haryana. I love to shop and exploring new places and culture. I was looking for a college or university that gives wings to my dreams and encourages me to follow my heart’s calling. I am glad I found that perfect place to learn and grow in MMDU.

When I first came to visit MMDU, Mullana, I was elevated by the atmosphere here in the campus. People were kind and indeed helpful. When I came to the department I grew more for law. I had started aspiring more and it made me grew. And with that it gave a platform to enhance my skills more. I was most impressed with the faculty and administrative staff here. They gave wings to my dreams and even supported me on every platform. The entire staff is cooperative and helpful, that could be counted on both as a law aspirant or on other platform.

MMDU Campus infrastructure is well groomed and facilitated. We a provided with comfortable environment to groom ourselves. It is cleaned and well equipped. Not only my department but other departments are also well equipped. Staying facility is also nice and the campus gives a homely feeling to us. The best part about this campus is that one gets to experience a diverse culture. You come across people from different cultures background and even countries. Staying and studying in with such a diverse campus helped me to learn about new cultures, rituals. That might either be related to different foods being prepared in our families or celebrating festivals or enjoying these campus fest. Campus unites us to be one.

MMDU, Mullana completes the holistic development of a student. It gives a platform not only to enhance ourselves in academics but in other activities. As Education is important along with that it makes us self-dependent.

Taking about my achievements, I am a silver medalist in English Olympiad and in inter school badminton championship. I had been a school topper in my intermediate schooling. Along with that I am FBI colors Femina Miss India Haryana 2019 finalist.

MMDU, Mullana had been supportive and cooperative always. The entire department of student welfare have propped me and motivated me with their kind words. I cherish some of the best memories of life from MMDU campus. I don’t know what would I take along from campus but surely this bunch of memories would be a part of it. We do enjoy our classes but Nescafe ground is our favorite hangout spot.

MMDU has taught me that along with career development or academic growth, personality growth is also equally important. Participating in other activities and vocational aspects could also give someone a career. This is the transformation I had undergone since I joined the campus. MMDU has given many like me an opportunity to enhance and showcase our skills.
